A HAT FOR HIPPO

Today the Kowhai reading group read the story called A hat for Hippo. 

They then decorated their own hats and wore them, just like Hippo should of done in the story.

Today we had a fantastic day celebrating the Queens birthday by crafting crowns and decorating muffins, as well as watching Alice in Wonderland. We had a very fun day.

We welcomed Angelo to our class yesterday.

Today we welcomed three children from Room 2. They are Aaya, Ikeli and Kasio. We are eager to 
help them settle into our classroom.

 












Talofa from Room 3. This week was Samoan language week. In room 3 we learnt how to greet in Samoan. We also had Mr Sunny visit our class. He is Samoan and showed us how to wear the lava lava. He also showed us the fan that is used to keep one cool in Samoa. We enjoyed listening to the Samoan White Sunday story.
